Depends on the amount of rain. If its a downpor yeah, it gets way to slick to wheel safely out there. if its just a light sprinkle like last sunday he doesnt fuss about it.
There are some trails, I dont know about all day. I am still exploring his 7 acres. But it seems that a good 4 hours of the day can be used pretty good.
To my carnage...... I will post pics later. Got dark before i could finish the Heap. I sheared/exploded the drivers side U-joint, JB weld wouldnt even look at this thing and say " ehhhhh maybe". It could have been worse But was still bad enough to the point wear i had to limp home at 25MPH. Good news is, Kelly had a spare axle shaft he was kind enough to give me. (Kelly I will get a new one ASAP)
I got the new axle shaft and all put in. But Should be driveable again tomorrow. striped a damn bolt on the drivers side TRE. if it one thing.....
Yeah, I was lucky it didnt chew up the knuckle to bad. I made sure to check it before i put the new axle shaft and all back in.
That too. but it was a chance i had to take, was a short ride home, and now I will make sure to have the parts and tools next time around. No, you are lucky that the inner shaft did not ride up on the stub and knock your knuckle OFF, sitting on the side of the road OFF.
Looks like mine.
