Lol... idiot boy :roflmao:

What are you a 12 year old girl???

You sure as hell ain't much of an intelligent man, so your new moniker shall be "idiot boy".

Now, go away. No one here likes you or cares to hear about your stupid thoughts. You will end up getting a permanent banning. Probably sooner rather than later. You will continue to go through life a clueless idiot that will blame those around them for your own failings, never seeing how you cause your own discomfort and misery. You are the quintessential example of what is wrong with our country: a self absorbed, un-intelligent, jack-**s.

1) Really, sell your XJ.
2) Buy a Wrangler.
3) Go to JU (jeeps unlimited).
4) Find acceptance with Charlie Wenzel, Anthony the body builder, Stumpalump, etc. . .
5) Profit?

Ok.
Since I was at work yesterday and last night... this thread got good and I missed it all!
but it seems its about time for this.

Heh Your mom!

Now that that is out of the way... lets start the rubber and glue and move to bit#$ slapping and crying while we are in the habit of regressing.

oh and my 2 cents on the cat thing.

Put a new one in. they are not that expensive and if it gives you power to take it out. It was bad in the first place.
putting a new one in will be the same as taking the old one out.

but wait, we weren't actually arguing about that now...

something about bleachers Marlboro and someones mom right?

Here is my couple pennies...IF you Don't have a cat that is fine by me, now if you come to a public forum that already gets so heat from other groups of (don't take this the wrong way) tree huggers, then i have a problem with it, you should keep those kind of things to yourself. I learned that lesson on here a while back, its just too bad it too you this long to realize that.

PS. If everything that smelled bad, was bad for you, how do you explain medicine?

Holy sh*t! Did you just get back the OP???

I thought everyone forgot what this thread was even about :dunno:

And for what it's worth, has anyone actually taken a step back and asked the question... "Wow, is this even worth it? Man I'm gettin WAAAAAY bent outta shape hating somebody that I don't even know!"

Apparently it is :D

No we didn't. The opening post had nothing to do with a cat. It was just pictures of a Cherokee climbing on an old BMW and a Toyota attempting to do so.

Ok, you can keep callin me names, OR... you could actually answer my question. Ya know, since you were the one throwin around accusations, prove it. I'll be waiting :D
In case you want to read the thread I pulled these from

But for those of you that dont' know, it's a
DUAL outlet shorty Clifford header with 2.25" DUAL pipes with a set of
straight through resonators and a straight through x-pipe cased muffler
and NO CATS.
Emphasis in original

And you probably could run a 15.5 with just
intake and exhaust and still keep your cats. Probably... maybe... I dunno,
I haven't seen it yet

PurpleCherokee said:
Please know what the you're talking about
before you go running your mouth. Driving without a cat is an
INFRACTION, NOT a "federal crime"
As has been posted by GSequoia already, it is indeed a federal crime, not just an infraction.

More power, much cheaper, more reliable, less
maintenance, sounds better (imo). And if you're worried about polluting,
sell your XJ. And every other ICE you own. And while you're at it, get the
electricity disconnected from your house (or trailer... or van). Oh, and
don't buy any batteries either. Or anything for that matter. Everything
pollutes.
The sentence before you said it doesn't shave a tenth off you time, but here you say it performs better. Claiming that something is less expensive, more reliable, higher performance, and better from an aesthetic standpoint sure sounds like advocating said course of action.

If you don't like my exhaust, then A: shut your
mouth, or B: tell me why you don't like it, and back it up with actual
science. Don't just start ridiculing someone on a personal level that you
don't even know.

I have a car that I used drag race.
It is a 87 Shelby Charger with 22 PSI on a 2.5, 4 popper.
While I was heavy into the drag scene I did a lot of test and tunes. One of
the very first things I did was test the difference in ETs with and with out
a cat.

It was a whopping .01-.05 time reduction in the 1/4. A properly
functioning cat will not hinder your performance.
To this day I still have a cat on the car and it runs high 11's-mid 12's
depending on the track.
Put your cat back on.

Shelbyluvv said:
I gave you the facts about using and not using a cat.
I will type this slow so you can read it. There is not a noticeable
improvement to be felt by removing a PROPERLY functioning cat,
period!

I could careless if you think your XJ is fast. I have owned over 20 X/MJs
through the years and I also own a 4.7 WJ. Which has a K&N in the
stock air box and a Flowmaster 50 Series muffler that replaced the stock
one. All the rest of the WJ is factory stock, minus the lift and tires. A XJ
can not and will not run with my WJ with your bolt on mods and poorly
designed exhaust.
Just wanted to toss in a couple responses received from people disputing, with evidence and science, your claims that removing your cat helped you.

Well I can't help the fact that:
A: it's cheaper
B: it's more reliable
C: less maintenance to worry about
D: better performance
E: sounds better
If you call stating facts condoning removing your cats then I'm guilty.

Never have I advocated everyone removing their cats, simply stated facts. In fact, I condone everyone doing whatever the hell they want w/their exhaust, or their rigs in general. If you want cats then go for it. Get a high-flow unit and have fun. I really don't care. No, you won't lose much of an appreciable amount of power, and you'll stay legal so go for it. I however, choose not to. Now get over it.

Someone permanently ban this 'tard for criminal stupidity and crimes against intelligence. . . .

A. yes.
B. not really.
C.yeah but still violates the clean air act in almost every way.
D. .05 seconds Oh god!
E. You're high on the fumes your Jeep is emitting!

:conceited:twak:

a: the $800 per cat ticket isnt cheaper then 65 bux for a magnaflow high flow.
b: says who?
c: i've never had to service my cat
d: nope, its been proven time and time again that this motor needs the cat
e: matter of opinion, personally i dont want my xj sounding like a honda b16. i know you do tho.

now purplecherokee...go troll some other forum. i hear honda-tech is looking for new recruits.
