They also go by several different names on ebay. OldYeller204 and auotarchives is their most recent. They have like 3 or 4 different names for their company's crap. Thats the kind of shady stuff they do. Basically if it is engine associated and comes out of Ocala Florida, run away.

I love my golen engine. Chad Golen is the most informative person i have ever talked to when it comes to engines. ATK makes hundreds of motors per day all different types. When it comes to Golen he makes them on a per order basis. The quality is amazing, the time he takes to walk you through the purchase is great.

i have over 2500 miles on my stroker it runs like a top. it will spin my 35s with ease and will run over 100 mph with no problems what so ever. for the money you spend the warranty you get and the quality of motor you receive is amazing. i would buy another golen in a heartbeat. Give Chad a call and tell him Brendan sent you he will talk your ear off about all the parts and time that go into each and every part of this motor.

When i talked to ATK, not so much, they werent very informative and i had to ask a question to have them tell me about the motor, Chad would go on and on describing his motor it was amazing.

A golen runs for about $3,500 ($3,700 if you have the 99 - 01 XJs). On the 01s he uses a newer TJ head that doesnt have the same bad casting issues as the 00/01s.

A buddy of mine also talked to Chad the other day, he told him that the HP numbers for the stroker are old and out of date, that they are really at about 275. He explained to me that he likes to go conservative on the numbers on the website. Why? I'm not sure lol
