Best Sliders?

Yeah but the Super nerfes are $424! That almost double what a set of JCRs are. It would be a lot cheaper to just cut the mounting plate and weld a set directly to the stiffeners.

$424 is the MSRP.
$360 is more common. They also come powdercoated and are easily removed for touch-ups. JCR wants $140 for some "stone liner coating"

I'm still curious if any other manufacturers make the sleeved mounting system like the JKS. You have a point regarding the savings, but I'm not so sure it's worth the $100 to have to cut and weld the sliders. To each their own.

We can make sliders the slider legs shorter to fit with frame stiffeners. We have done this in the past. Just give us a call if you want to place an order and we can discuss it will you further.
That sounds promising.

Could a set with shorter legs be mounted with the pinch seam bar on the inside of the pinch seam? Thus allowing for normal use while waiting to do the stiffeners and at that time bolt to the outside of the pinch seam as originally designed. Does this make sense? The other alternative would be to just use a temporary spacer in lieu of the stiffener, like another footplate.

I know I should just install the stiffeners now and get it over with, but I'm welder deficient at the moment.

thanks
