Best Long Range Lights?

trade your 170s for my daylighters:thumbup:

hey you asked for a thought:moon:

Heh, you got me there. I had a pair of slimlites and the pattern wasnt wide enough, so I sold them.

Lightforces' website says the 170 takes an H1. However, my 170 takes an Osram Xenophot bulb. Maybe they changed it? I know a H1 would not fit in my lights.

That appears to be what I have also. Maybe I will just fork over the 360 to convert the lightforces...

FWIW, I have a pair of the Kragen lights. Got them from Quadratec a couple months ago under the Rugged Ridge brand, I guess Kragen lost the contract for them and Omix-Ada bought it and raised the prices. They're the brightest lights I've ever seen in person. Just one easily lit up a house 1/4mile down my street. :)

Even at the $150/ea list price from Rugged Ridge, it's an awesome deal. They come with an impact guard that should keep the lens safe from gravel and such although I'd recommend mounting these up high for better range. Mine are on the roof rack. The cheapest I've found them under the Rugged Ridge name is here: http://www.tellico4x4.com/product_info.php/cPath/41_740/products_id/39694 I doubt you'll find them much cheaper, since I've seen the wholesale cost for them. I'd look for the cheaper Kragen lights, same deal different box.
