any one else rip their doors off today? wifee is cruising around in our jeep with all 4 doors off, looks a little silly on account of the half of bushwacker fenders on the back oh well, pics to come soon

sure would like to see some more doorless XJ's

I still have to do my passenger side. It was too cold this morning to drive to work with my drivers side off plus that would look kinda funny with only one door off anyways.

Need to make mine removable. Too many power options.

How do you connect everything? Are all of the connections easy to get to?

Yeah I think he is pretty proud of his house... Even more than the XJ. Every picture I have seen of his has almost all of the house in it.

Pride is a deadly sin.:twak:

Mine haven't been on since I got back to school this semester

Nothing wrong with being proud of your house, especially when it's as nice as his. I too have lived in some pretty S***ty houses, and I am damned proud of all the properties I own now.

Been there done that.... I had a "cabin" that when I moved in had just a plywood floor, no kitchen cabinets (or sink), no heat or air, and was only about a 3rd of the way done. The only room of the house that was more than 80% complete was the bathroom. Took me about 6 months, but I built cabinets (installed a sink too!!!), put down hardwood floors, and finsihed all the drywall work, installed heat and air, built a wraparound deck, and most of my buddys still thought it was a shithole. But it was mine, and I loved it. Lived there for two years. Ended up selling it a few years ago for a HEFTY profit.

I lived in a mobile home for a while, that after I got done living there, I just let the fire department burn it down. It was in too bad of shape to have it moved. So we burnt most of it, and then scrapped the metal frame. Sounds like I was poor, but actually i was just a hardworking college student living cheap so that I could get my business started up and off the ground like I wanted too. Now I am in much better shape than I would have ever imagined. My wife and I are still living cheap, but we own tons of rental property, and about 5 acres in a highly desireable area with great schools, and next year we will be building our dream house on that land.
