edit: you know the more i look at it, it looks like they just mounted the fender further back and extended the wheel base. me likey! (writing this down for my build )

No, the wheelbase looks relatively stock to me. They mounted the fender and extended the front to meet up with the door gap. Here's how the fenders normally mount on 4 doors (they're designed for 2 doors).

i just looked again, dunno what i was thinking. you're right it is extended all the way to the front of the rear door. sweet!

I like the extended flared too makes it flow a bit better instead of having a seam dead in the center of the door it's has it lined up nicely with the door seam

I've been toying with this idea myself... My parents live across the street from a guy who builds trikes for a living, and is a master with fiberglass molds etc. I may try working a set to fit a 4 door.

Grill def sucks but how about that crappy steering on such a nice rig??? I'm thinking that rear glass is full custom look at all the lines there all gone but the start...

I must agree that grill kinda kills the Jeep... but still a wicked XJ but if I happened to acquire it the grill would stay at the dudes house. Looks to be carrying some pretty good speed in that pic so it has to do as good as it looks
