Badlands trip?

fo sho.....this could be a pretty awesome second trip. Hopefully rob can make it then we can make it a WF green trail reunion! LoL

I'll let you school guys figure out a weekend to go to the Badlands.
we can do a one day event or two. I don't normally wheel on SUnday.
parts store aren't open on Sunday.
We can wheel green and Orange.
those not sure about Orange can be a passenger with someone.
It would not however be a event.
simply a Midwest Chapter informal gathering.

Carrolls Campground is five miles away.
It is a MUCH nicer campground.
the "primitive" area is nice plush green grass.
There is a pool, an activity center with ice and snacks and stuff.
They also have decent toilets and showers.
I will camp at Carrolls.

Nice. Anything is better than that muddy mess at Badlands. I'll run green and hop in the passenger seat on orange! I am up for any weekend as long as its decent outside!

Carrolls is cheaper than that attica campground! Definitely camping there!

Hmm - may have to check that campground out. I originally had planned on Haspin so took fri / sat (apr 24/25) off and the wife did too, so am hoping we could do that date... If not I may be able to make another one - just need enough heads up (few days) for switching a date on renting a trailer.

I got a friend that wants to try stuff out in his dodge, so if not many can make Friday I can have him try out stuff by the quarry, etc. Trying to get the wife seat time in the XJ too - she backed out for winterfest cause she didn't want to wheel in front of so many people...

I'd be up for wheeling any weekend in April or May (or multiple weekends), Haspin or Badlands. Most likely would not be able to wheel on a Friday though cause of school, but I'd definitely show up for Saturday.

I'm running open on 33s, I still don't know the trails yet cause I've always followed other people, but I think I've done most or all of Orange before.

I know I met some of yall around the campfire, but promptly forgot.

wheel all day, go back to the campground, party and leave
to go home in the morning. Or, you can go back to the Badlands Sunday.
It may be a long drive for some to just wheel one day.
If we get a few people to wheel Friday, I can arrive Thursday night.

I am down for this! Camping at Carrolls looks great, this time I will bring a tent that doesn't leak in case the weather turns bad.

I will try to be there Thursday night, otherwise I will go straight to the Badlands around noon on Friday and meet up with you then.

I planned to run green again but next time i am gonna climb that rock face in the Quarry. I should have did it when everyone else did!

I'm fine with green, if we have enough open seats we can always try orange later. And yea I should have tried to climb some of those steep rocks in the quarry as well!

Hey guys, keep in mind that we'll need to do another Redbird clean up sometime this spring / early summer. Redbird is worth the trip IMHO.
You've wheeled the Badlands, check out Redbird too! I need to get a date nailed down for the Redbird cleanup. The more we have show up the less work it is for everyone. Admission is free if you're there with us that day too.

I'm not trying to kill this Badlands run, have at it if you'd like, ......... I just wanted you all to be aware of future happenings.

I'm skipping my friday classes. I get like 5 absences in each of them, so I'm gonna make em count!

Well...I'm turning in my time off request tomorrow for the 24th-25th! So I'm for sure gonna be there on thurs night the 23rd, and camp out at Carroll's.
