I have a aussie locker in the 8.25. I am replacing the spring and pin kit but i cant seem to figure out how to get the c-clips off of the axles. It seems to me that there is a spacer or cover over the clips inside of the aussie locker. I cant figure pout how to pull the axles after the aussie locker is installed. any advice would help. thanks

the spacers are in the way though. The clips are behind the spacers. Are you saying the spacers will fall out? If i get those out i can get to the clips

you are correct but that is in the install. That post doesnt show or say anything about the install of the c-clips after the locker is in and it doesnt show how to pull the aussie locker back out. I saw that post earlier. It seems getting the locker in is alot easier than getting it out. If i could figure out how to get the c-clips out after the install i would be golden.

All the lunch box lockers I have seen that have c-clips have slots for the clips to fall out. you can see them on the aussie in the pic of it apart on the ground. The gear oil will cause suction and make them hard to fall out.

If there is something in the way I don't know what is could be.

have you tried to hold one wheel and rotate the other to get it to ratchet and maybe get things lined up.

hey Josh that was my buddy David using my SN ...he said he got the clips out by shaking the aussie a bit, he ended up stripping the splines on the Aussie and the shaft he found out...time for a new locker and pass side shaft..he told me to thank you for the help.

dude those are NAXJAs shafts. haha. that axle went from billy to terrance to me to josh. its just getting passed around to who ever needs it.

ya he texted me earlier that day and i told him to pull center pin first.

he ended up swapping the 8.25 I sold him from my new POS...thanks for the offers guys.
