Aug 21 @ Badlands Atica, In

I doubt I'll have my Jeep all back together by then, but it is possible. If it is, I'll roll down if I can twist Brad's arm (not that difficult) to go too. Either way, I would bet he would go and I could ride shotty with him. I guess we can talk that over.

On second thought, I believe I have plans...

Which ever. I don't even remember what it cost @ the entrance. Cheaper is better, but if Sommers has more than I am also about value. Still waiting on MM to send correct remote, and control box. Hopefully tomarrow I will hear from them. No to duce duce and a half she is not into camping.

Dam City girls don't want to hang out in the dirt!!!! well i will have to find another seat cover then...

Yes you will. I was just talking to a guy I used to work with to see if he wants to go. His uncle has a motor home. If he goes I will have to score a trailer. Now wouldn't that be nice. I should almost start buying parts today.

Would be nice. The wife is training for a new job as a tow truck driver with the guy that moves alot of our equipment. Once she starts getting paid and we pay the frigin state off maybe I will be able to seriously look.

I went through the same tow rig search recently. Ended up settling on an old body style Tahoe with a 350. Ended up being a lot cheaper than the newer ones and the 350 has plenty of low end grunt to get things moving (better than the newer 5.3 motors I'd say). Mileage sucks. 11 around town, 15 highway, and probably 10 when towing. But I'm getting used to it.

Sadly I won't be able to make this. Instead of driving 30 minutes to the Badlands I'm instead opting to drive 7.5 hours to Harlan. Take pictures!

You will not be let down going to kentucky. A very cool place to wheel. I went there 2 times this year and can't wait to go back..

From the pictures it looks like an awesome place! I am fairly new to this, so most of my trips have been to the Badlands, with an occasional Redbird or Haspin (ugh) run. Can't wait to check out a new place. As cool as the Badlands is, I get a little worn out going there so often, and bored with the scenery. Though I have to say, every time I'm there I find a spot I didn't know about before.

It looks like there will be a decent turnout for the Badlands run though. Have fun!
