dzolcali said:I do know a lot about dogs...I worked at a dog kennel for quite a long time when I was 13 until I was legal age to work at a real tax paying work place. I've owned plenty of "good dogs' and trained them all the same, keeping a dog in a cage all day is cruel whether they are quiet or not. If you can't give it the proper freedom don't own a dog bottom line. I get the opportunities to own free animals left and right...good ones at that, hell in the last month i've been offered two different siamese cats, a blue pit bull(if you even know what that is), and a chihuahua(like I would want one...). But because I live in an apartment now and have no place to let it run and do it's thing, I have turned all those down, and believe me I would love to have a blue pit bull...I used to own a blue doberman imported from australia, along with a cinnamon and a black. most dogs do get quiet in a dog cage after they realize theres no hope...but for a period of time they aren't especially once they get attatched to their owners and then you leave them. maybe your dog owning experience is short doug(haha no pun intended) and thats why you haven't come about the experience of owning a dog that whines in a cage. Or maybe your dog just doesn't miss you when you leave. also...how do you know it doesn't whine if your not there to watch it and your roomie is. something sounds fishy about your original statements, maybe he is on roids but why would he put your dog outside if it's all perfect in the cage?

you say sick em and it does, it watches for the saftey of your house, doesn't eat kids when they come over

no really...
I've been working with dogs for the past 15 years...
I make my living ( a decent one) by my knowledge of companion animal behavior and physiology...
It is NOT cruel to keep a dog in a crate 8-12 hours a day...
What's really cruel...
is that your parents didn't abort ya.
Maybe they shoulda crate trained ya...
Quit piping in with your half ass-dimwitted observations.
I wouldn't even let you clean up after a parvo shit on any of my patients...
Hell...
I wouldn't even let you bag a dead one.
dzolcali said:wow just wow, seriously glad you aren't taking care of my dogs, certainly wouldn't want my dog going home in a body bag due to your arrogance. Crate trained...Oh so lets prison train inmates now...locking anything up 8-12 hours a day is cruel, it's taking away what that animal could have been doing...for what reason so you can go to work and come home and be like "ohh my little baby waby been in the cage all day waiting for me blah blah blah" you animal lovers make me sick with your "love" for the animals. go join peta you hippy ass dog killer maybe you can help them kill all them animals they are fighting to protect.
Also, my dog was professionally trained as a seeing eye dog, and my other dog was also professionally trained and yes we had her trained to attack SO fcking what, police dogs have the same training you fcking idiot...
sorry I even added to this lame ass thread to start with evidently you knob goblins see dzol and start getting all red in the face with some sorta emotions much like this dudes roommate and you think you can post a buncha blah blah and "qoute" and yada yada and make me change my mind...NOPE sorry go somewhere else with your beasitality laws and your animal cruelty kicks and make it all seem ok if you don't see the cruelty in locking an animal up you are a completely and utterly a moron

dzolcali said:that was trained to attack...it's name happened to be "killany"
dzolcali said:actually i didn't know that joke...thanks for clueing me in. whats cruel about training a dog to protect property if you give it a 3 car garage and 2 1/2 acres to roam freely...I don't understand how thats cruel as long as it keeps unwanted visitors away from your land...please explain what "neglect of cruelty" means...sounds to me in the wording that it means just that, not cruel. or were you going for neglect OR cruelty..in which case neither apply, training a dog is not cruel compared to caging it up for 12 hours which is the matter at hand am I wrong?
the killany thing happened to be coincidental evidently it's a scottish name that my mother picked out, just so happened to sound threatening although I never really connected the two.
jeepin your a douche bag...
