If you or anyone else has a Sony digital 8, I could send the tape...

At least I didn't break my jeep :D
Time for a front 60 and an Atlas?

I have a digital 8 and I want to see how close I came to being skinny again. do you still have my address?

I have a couple of free passes left for those attendee's that weren't at Pizza Hut to receive one. PM me and if I don't respond within a day or two try email.

I may have a bit of a problem with that video. Took out the tape from yesterday to find a blank one for Cindy to use at the wedding shower today, and somehow I now have the blank tape stuck halfway ejected in the damn camcorder!

I have another camcorder but it's not the digital 8, so I'm not sure what my options are. Don't really want to pay a couple hundred to fix that POS, when I can get a better one for a few hundred.

I'm thinking front 44 with aftermarket alloy shafts. As for an Atlas, that'd be nice but in reality this is the first T-case I've broken. The last one actually wore the plastic pads inside and caused me problems with it dropping out of high range. I'm thinking I might give the 242 one more shot, though I might start carrying a spare. ;) I'd go 231 at this point but I already have the SYE in my 242.

ummmmm Bob. was it the driver rear tire that went flat? thought so. what did you say when I asked if you were going to change it? thought so. my son is carter. I still feel like shit. Who made me drink so much at skankles? oh yea, the same guy that made me roll three years ago. meth whores and fat chicks, must have been JJ's friends, what was his lame excuse again? I had a better drive home than the drive there. just pulled a local cop out of the ditch a minute ago. it's still cold. is it June yet? didn't think so. I had a freakin blast, even tho I still can't feel major parts of my body. when are we going back? oh yea, when it's warm. bob's attempt at rock face was the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. glad he's okay, and scotty too. what's up with the case? lets cut the roof off just to be safe. weather got bad the further north I went, scotty had bad roads too. thanks to everyone for a good time, glad to see some young blood in with the traditionalist pansy group, good seeing you both again and meeting brian. always a good time. I'm cold, tired and the colts won. do you know how to keep a bear from masturbating? :D

how the hell did you break the tcase? glad u made it home...you seem to always have a crazy getting home story...

if you figure something out that doesn't involve using the 242 sye, let me know, i could always use it on the "baby" jeep...

i froze my butt off...but it was like old times...though we needed a BIG campfire and some straw...

btw bob, thanks for the "gift" i used them on the way home...

Yer right about the tire. It held air over night though so I thought it'd be OK, guess not. Looking through the t-case window I now have made that seem pretty minor. It does still drive though. Actually after the bang it got quiet and smooth.

I did learn that all my driveshaft vibes are coming from the front.

That ride home was windy as heck. Plus it's way colder here than it was in Attica. I guess I went to Attica to get away from the cold weather. :)

We had a good crew, it was a lot of fun!

It wouldn't be a wheeling trip without a good drive there/home story. Dan had the trip from hell getting there, I had it getting home.

Are you saying just the SYE or the whole case? This case is now pretty much junk. I found an older 242 on e-bay for $50. Or I found one local with 38K miles for $200. Quite a bit less than an Atlas. ;)

BTW, I didn't break the case, it broke all by itself! :)

I looked up the receipt for the gears, they are Superior's. They say they are made in the US. They have a 2 year warranty so I may get some new ones on warranty, we'll see.

Had a good time guys! Glad you made it back Bob.

I'm a little surprised Dan didn't blame me for the fat chicks and the meth whores. hehe.

Thanks for the place to sleep Scott!

Oh and for all you all that didn't show, the owner of badlands gave everyone that showed up a free pass to mission impossible (private trails near the badland property)

i'll take those off your hands if you want

you could have had one if you would have shown up.

if my jeep wasnt on jack stands for the third winter in a row i would have

We made it home fine Sunday morning after Gene's oil thawed and he got some oil pressure. I had a great time. Even though it was so cold, that was one of the better times I've had at the Badlands. Staying overnight at the Hotel Attica was definitely a great idea. Good times.

Glad you made it home Bob...sounds like a helluva trip.

Pete, do you have a story to share with the group?

Looking forward to next time.

Pat

Hey PAT did you tell these guys what they have to look forward to on
Mission Impossible? Man I wish I was able to run that trip with you guys.:rattle:

Yep, Scott seduced me into taking his extra bed, I obliged.

I hear you blew a .05 in the morning? Thats higher than the "drunk" chick at Robies! nice job
