Anyone goin to slick rock this weekend?

I'm running Niagara that weekend maybe switch it up if multiple people are gunna run slick rock lol

It sounds like a bunch of people are going this weekend. I'll be up for a day, can't overnight it I'm house sitting for my in-laws and my wife doesn't like being alone in that house.

I slept in the front seat of a jeep my first trip too.

slick rock is 3 miles long and can be ran in 45 minutes.
it can also take 7 hours if you have never wheeled before, and are open/open, small lift, dont know how to wheel....

Yep first time I ran it we made it to the stairs in 45 mins but took up 4 hours to get em up. Bunch of people clogging the trail and breaking lol open open 31s 3 in lift

Slick rock is an overnight run?

Are you going tonight kr tomorrow ? Do you have tow points ? Did you go to 4x4'trail maps for directions? We are wheeling in the north side tonight by alpine and will be camping on the south side. South side also can be accessed via spicer dam road but you have to know where you are going ? Itll be cold at night . Very cold

I'm coming down tomorrow morning, I have a hitch in the rear, i don't have front tow points.

So where am I going? I can't get a solid answer from anyone, I've heard north side, I've heard south side. I don't know what the hell's going on.

Someone give me a map location and I will be there at 10am tomorrow.

I dont reccomend going without legit front tow points. The stair steps change every year but usually can be done with lesser built rigs with out a winch or strap but no guarantee that the slick rock mafia hasnt winched in some massive boulders in the way.

Camping at the south side .

Was not able to make it out, I had talked to seal yesterday around 5pm and everything was green lit and ready to go. He gave me directions to the camp and everything. Had a major family emergency this morning as I was leaving and had to turn around. Was not able to make it out, and probably won't be around for a few days, trying to sort some things out.

Such a fun time! Casey's jeep seat made for a comfortable camp chair... Till it fell over.
