Just curious :anon:

Slick rock, this weekend or another, should be an excellent trail for Adam to try. 32s, lift, open diffs.

So when are you taking him up there lol? :eyes:

I'll be out there.

Slick Rock is an easy trail, about 125 miles, 2.5 hours from Sac. I took a friend with a later 4Runner on like 3" and 32s across it a couple years back.

I think it might not be green sticker friendly so Jon let me know when you have a rig I can take.

You can ride with me

I'm game to go, it looks like its outside Stockton?
My only issue is my tires are really worn in the front and almost brand new in the rear, the size difference is pretty drastic right now.
It would mess my TCase up probably.

I could put my All Terrain tires and wheels back on, but they are only like 31"s.

I'm looking at 4x4trails right now, it doesn't look that far from us. I kinda wanna go this weekend, but only if someone experienced is willing to teach me the ropes. If you don't wanna string a newbie along I understand.

Isn't that XJensen's website? I seem to remember him mentioning something about it a couple months ago.

Slick rock is a great trail to start out on! My first trail besides running around PC in folsom lol

You're welcome to roll with us. We can show you the ropes on that trail. I did it on 31's open open with no issues.

Ya I'm gonna sort out the tire situation today and tomorrow and I definitely wanna go.

I'll need a location and meeting time, and list of supplies to bring.

I think we settled on meeting in Arnold. At the chevron gas station. I'm leaving salinas after work at 5. It'll take me 3-4 hours to get there, so figure meet around 8-9pm tomorrow night.

Here's the address.

960 Highway 4
Arnold, CA 95223
United States

As far as supplies, food and drink for the weekend, tent and bedding, cold weather clothes, tools, what spares you've got that you think you might need. I'll dig around and see what spares I've got that no longer fit my rig, but might fit yours.

We are gonna be camping, yes. But the trail it's self is only 5ish miles long and can be done in an afternoon or faster depending on How fast you go.

Easy, you got blankets and a pillow? I've got a tent you can use.
