When I went to visit my buddy who graduated from SUNY Albany last year there were a few lifted XJ's and TJ's, if your driving around town, or your at the mall and see a lifted Jeep stop and talk to them. I remember this one at Albany that like a week after I left I saw a post on here of JF the kids car went up in flames on the Thruway, crazy stuff.

Hey whats goin on I go to RPI and I know a few good spot real close to school If you wind up at RPI look me up on facebook My name is Chris Salvatto

Look forward to hearin from you
Chris

yea, ill look you up when i head up there again

thank god there are trails up there, i figured there wood be since all around it is like the country, besides albany of course.

Im right up in clifton park. As far as i know for wheelin bennington and north adams is an easy drive. Also some little trails to mess around on local but nothing to hard.

Next year as in you're there now or gonna be there 2007-2011? I have a few friends over there now, not sure of the trails. I go to WPI myself, but we have a group that goes to florida mass which is about halfway between us.

be there 07-11, hopefully lol
i got that medal award thing so for 15 grand a year it seems pretty inviting, plus ive heard great things about it.

but yea as long as there are trails to run on ill be fine, i just dont want to get up there and be the only jeep enthusiast up there

Yeah i got the medalist award too, but trust me, keep your eyes open at other schools because some will give you even more. RPI is a great school, but over in worcester its closer to home for me, lots of other colleges around (you wont find too mamy girls at either rpi or wpi haha), and the price was right. Whats your major and have you applied anywhere else? Im doing aerospace engineering and i also applied to northeastern and rpi. Good luck.

yea, aerospace and robotics, im really interested in robotics so i might major in that, they have an autonomous design major so im not sure yet...
yea im applying to RPI, clarkson, and Missouri Rolla

ill see where it takes me

RYANS WAKE,,,

great bar in troy

rocklandxjer, I think you'll love it there... "there" being any of the places you've listed! Close enough to a lot of great areas. I live about 90 miles east of the "Troy" there, about 15 minutes from Thruway Exit 32. Not too far from the "Clarkson" there, either - about an hour north of me. But -- college? Tooooo many years ago for me to even think about! At least, for the first time I went... two more degrees since then. In fact, we've been looking at colleges for my daughter. She's a senior in HS this year... sad, when our kids get older than we are! :)

Just remember one thing, and maybe this'll be better understood by those in their later 30's and older ---- One way or the other, we're all living the life decided for us by an 18-year-old... when WE were that 18-year-old!!! Make good decisions. "Fun" doesn't last. "Cool" changes in a flash. You're only the top rooster from the time you knock the "old" one down until you ARE the "old" one getting knocked down. Enjoy every minute, not only in these years but all of them.

Ain't preachin' at ya, not one bit. I still climb mountains, chase stars - and dreams, and one woman - the one I married 23 years ago. You sound like you've got things going well. Here's to it staying that way! Have a blast.

P.S. - This being my first post, I hope I haven't broken any protocol. Probably should've gone to the introduction place to start...

thanks, yea ive visited 3 times now and it looks pretty good.

believe me, im not really going to RPI for the girls lol
or to have a fun and easy time (aeronautics and mechatronics are not the easiest majors lol)

anyway thanks for the information Jeep jam
