ANY XJ's From Corpus Christi TX?

Any of you local guys want to buy or barter a set of barely used slotted brake rotors, calipers, and pads? Figured I'd let the local crowd get first dibs before I offered them up and shipped them to the rest of the Texas XJers. I'll trade for parts or anything useful as well. Let me know what you've got.
If all goes well, I'm trying to get the heap on the road to Port A for Sandfest this weekend. Just can't take driving my wife's burb on the beach anymore. Hope to see yall out there. -G

What year is your rig? I rebuilt the brakes on my 89 axle, but now that I'm swapping in the 99 axle, the brakes are different.

I still have the hood and other parts. What do you need to get the thing going?

What do you need to get for that hood Those brakes fit on mine it's a '90 so an 89 ought to fit well, but later years are different I think.

Saw a white 2WD XJ yesterday without a back window. I have the rear glass for a 96 or earlier model XJs if anyone know who this is. Looking for $25 including the gasket.

back in January I saw a light blue one up on 38" boggers cruising around down on SPID near TAMUCC. I seriously doubt he wheeled it though. It was all nice and shiney. Looked really awesome though.

nah, this one had to have around 7-8" of lift. Definitely had 38's though. It was an aftermarket paintjob. looked kind of like the new gto metallic blue.

I would assume it was from there. It had a TX plate on it, but I didnt see a county or anything on it like our plates have. By the looks of it, its sitting in a garage somewhere under a cover.

Sorry about the late reply on the brakes, guys. The brakes are for a late model as they don't fit my non-anti-lock 89. Nice brakes tho, starting to get some very light surface rust on the rotors, better get them on a vehicle quick. It appears that southtexas has first dibs, but I don't know how much I want for them. Ratherbecamping (Tom, right?) is second, but he does have the 89 axles that I need for my jeep, and since he's swaping to newer axles and I have newer brakes, maybe we can work out some trading. Have to see if Southtexas wants them bad. Ha. Email me at [email protected] with questions.
Had a great weekend on the beach, the chero didn't make it- ball-joint failure due to screwing around on a dirt pile Thurs night. That's how I usually do it. Saw lots of XJs, was that you out Larry? Did you go higher? Someone did and they had your tires. Looked good.

Let me know if you don't work something out with southtexas. I completely rebuilt the brakes on my 89 axle complete with all new parts and the knuckles will fit on the 99 axle. I can to pull the knuckles off the 89 and put them on 99 axle for now and keep my new unit bearings as well, so it's not a big deal.

Did you get you ball joints changed out?
