There's a ton of video on youtube showing how pathetic tito really is. I think it's funny.
I would only want to see the tito vs Dana fight if I thought Dana could win.

There will never be anything funnier than when Randy C. spanked tito on the ass during their fight. Priceless LOL.

x2, would love to see someone beat Silva....

and ok, I'll give you that :D huge d-bag...

White is the man, yes, but he's still an asshole...I would have loved to see that Ortiz/White "exhibition" that never happened....

That would have been great. Dana would have worked him and he basically chickened out.

I thought BJ had two great qoutes on the Primetime show last wednesday.

"Frogs, after the fight I want you to go back to your hotel room, take off your shoes, lay down on your bed for 20-30 minutes and just go **** yourself"

and the one directed towards Dana "I hate people questioning my training. Does somebody want to get slapped?"

Yeah, funny quotes.

FWIW that comment was not directed at Dana. Dana and BJ both know his past training habits. It was directed at GSP's training partners and the internet hype.

BJ is a lighter-weight fighter and will have a very tough time if it comes down to strength vrs strength. GSP will carry his strength into this fight and will man-handle BJ.

Both are great fighters.

On top of what hack99 said:

15 lbs, is ALOT of weight as far as conditioning goes. Wrestling all my life I can attest to this. GSP is extremely well conditioned at 170. BJ wasn't as well conditioned as GSP at 155...carrying around 15 more lbs on his frame may take more out of him than he even knows.

Should be good!! Just wanted to throw 2 pointless cents in ; )

PS. GO STEELERS!!

GSP is gonna win, that guy is an animal. Almost every fight i've seen him in besides the first Cera fight, he has completely controlled and dominated the opponent. He has so much talent and I'd love to see him move on to fight anderson silva.

Plust I think BJ is a whiney little bitch.

I pick GSP

GSP has had a taste of getting his ass whipped and will work harder to keep that from happening again. He seems focused.

BJ...I like this dude 100%. but, not in this fight.
I think BJ has the best ground game in the business.

I do want to see it go the distance.

BOB

Man. . . I'm a huge BJP fan, but I just don't think his amazing natural talent will be enough to handle GSP's athleticism. GSP has a hard time cutting wieght to 170 and look how lean he is! I'm rooting for Penn, but have my money on GSP.

In the weigh-in's it was announced that the first PPV fight started after the Finch fight! what gives? He goes from number one contender to a no-body? I'm more interested in that fight that the majority of the other fights!

x2, 3 of the 5 main card bouts are going to suck....hell half those guys I never heard of, and Karo Parysian (or whatever his name is) is about as exciting to watch as paint drying.

does anybody on naxja train? if any of you guys were ever on the fence about starting, do it....most fun ive ever had

Man I can't agree with you at all on this one. . . Karo Parysian is one of the most exciting ground fighters IMO. His Judo/Jui Jistu background is well decorated and he shows it. And just for the record, paint drying takes long than his fights :looney:.

I do Jui Jistu, and have a couple friends that have got a couple fights under their belt, if I wasn't a 27 year old in a 60 year old man's body I'd love to try!

In watching the series on Spike leading up to this fight it seemed as though the general concensus was that Penn would be better off since he back in his "natural" weight class...but I do agree with you.

Penn has a training routine where he runs on the bottom of the ocean floor carrying a rock to hold him down, called running the rock or something, basically windsprints underwater. I thought this was a cool training technique.

It's really cool, yes, but as far as high intensity (VO2 max) training, it's not a good idea. You want to be able to breathe so you can sprint for longer, basically training your body to deal with the buildup of lactic acid with not enough oxygen for longer. Cool yes, as effective as running with a snorkel taped to your face, no.

I've been wrestling since I was 6 years old - done a bit of Judo and Sambo, along with freestyle/greco, and MMA-type fighting when I lived in the midwest for a few years....and I still think he's boring to watch.

Most of his fights go to a decision....they're long, drawn out...he's NEVER knocked anyone out, and in UFC, he's only ever submitted 2 people, and 9 of his other fights have gone the distance....

I have seen paint dry faster than one of his matches! :D

I gotta go for GSP seeing as he's just down the road from me.
But fact is one reason MMA is so popular is its anyones fight, on any night.

We can speculate on who's gonna win, we can 'guarantee' our guys is gonna win, but I can't think of many, if any, fights that I knew without a doubt who was going to win.

I can't fight worth a damn, never had to so never learned... but I really enjoy watching people who know what they're doing really get down to it. This should be a good fight night.

Go GSP!!

someone better post up the results as soon as they call they ring the final bell!!! i'm a big BJ Penn fan and he gets better with every fight, but GSP is a tough bastid. cocky and annoying, but tough..
