any trails near cottage grove, or?

we will be in cottage grove between xmas & new years in our motorhome to check in on our rental properties & see some friends.
we will have our heep with us & plenty of time to goof off if anyone has any ideas for us to check out.

Noonday will be impassable this time of year. I'd suggest Shotgun Creek. When I was there, they only had one trail for Class 2's but I've heard they have a lot more now.

When we went, they were out of maps so we just wandered. Good luck with that?

I've been to shotgun quite a few times and all they ever have listed is the one class 2 trail, and last time I was there (bout 2 months ago) it was closed and blocked for repair, hate to be the downer.

Let me know when you are there Tim I will be at the Lake around Chrismas maybe we can meet up and I can also buy you a drill bit to replace the one of yours I hardend. You could also come play on the sand.

noonday trail is probably doable in your rig. all the way up to the top may be a push. but i know sevral that have done it recently. if you want to head over the pass east, theres a couple areas neer sisters.

Any Chance you will make it a little farther north? I don't know of anything down that way, but if you could get up by portalnd, a little west, in the Banks Oregon area. I would meet you out in TSF. I am sure some others would too. I just don't know of anything down by cottage grove. That doesn't mean they aren't there.

not sure if we will end up in tillamook or not. we have been thru there many times & always stock up on cheese & ice cream when we do! yum!
