I don't mean to be defeatist but having seen the photos I think you may be really up against a (snow) wall. I'm sure it was fun trying though! The good news is that probably nobody will know its there - especially with it being white. I'm considering whether to come up or not - seems like you had a lot of help today.

its up to you, i'm going either way. i might have a couple snomobiles going too. it is a wall but its powder, it just takes time and joe with D60's f/r and
40" tires should be able to plow better than the XJ i had.

sorryy i didnt get ur message tell like 1030 and tryd to call you a bunch of times. how far did u make it i went up there and made it past the four way and up to the pond off to the left. then my wife went for a walk and went about half mile past the gate where it Ys off. and i had to go hiking after her. man i was deep snow

Anybody heard from Cody today? Doesn't look like anybody has heard from anyone in the second rescue attempt. No new info on PNW either.

OK...so I had Cody's number from yesterday and just called him. He has the jeep and is driving home right now...everyone is ok. Appears our group yesterday actually passed the Jeep on the way up and on the way down. There was a pretty large stick/root sticking out that I'm sure most of the jeeps were looking at as to not get damage. Cody's XJ was right across from it, apparently COVERED in snow, and pushed onto its side. Joe, Cody, and another rig got it winched over and down the moutain safely. Appears to be no major damage to Cody's jeep.

I CANNOT believe we passed the damn thing. Must have been just covered/blanketed in snow.

Awesome news though, I'm glad everything turned out good. I believe Cody is going to post later when he gets home and he says he has some new pictures from today...
