Hi guys and girls. My name is Mike Greenwalt. I am the trail coordinator for the AOAA. The physical address for the park is 4100 SR 125 Shamokin,Pa. Depending on GPS coal township will work as the town. Your ride is scheduled for three weeks away and I need solid numbers for attendance and difficulty level so I can have guides lined up. Thanks for posting up Mike. Sometimes these folks are slow to respond until the last minute. At this point I would plan on two guides, one for greens/blues, and one for blues/blacks.

In my conversations with the one of the park managers, they hope to one day have it opened up just like RC. Its not there yet though (they have more hurdles to jump over with the state).
Unfortunately, until its truly open like RC, clubs have to arrange a trail ride ahead of time (and show proof that the club has insurance), and they have to use guides. Its just an easy way of controlling their liability, yet still giving us access to the park.
I was told hopefully spring of 2014.
