Another new-b

Sorry, no pics yet..

But I did get the new bearings pressed onto my rear axles last night. And FYI: I built jigs to press on and off rear axle bearings and the retainers (for Toyota axles, 2wd, or 4wd)

Hopefully nobody else has to go through the pain and suffering I did.

Heh, you may have a point there.

Well, if this stupid flu ever goes away i might actually get to cut the big linkmount this weekend and tack it up onto the unibody/rails.

On another note, I've been taking alot of dana44 teardown pics. Soon, I'll be installing a set of new Dedenbear highsteer knuckles on the SJ axle tube. Orange is awesome!

I havent goten anything done on my jeep or house because of the same crap. I start to feel better then it hits me again. sucks.

Rich, don't burn it in until you get it all under the heep. It's a series of compromises in clearing the driveshaft, exhaust, etc with the links. Also, I might rethink those tabs. There is a shit load of stress on the arms and I am not sure those tabs are up to snuff. I might still have some of the 3x3x.25 box that I cut open to make my mounts years back. the ID is perfect for the bigger RE joints.

Crash came over this weekend and we relocated and re-fabbed the frame panhard mount. Came out sweet. Used the CNC for it. :smokin:
