Hello everyone!
I just wanted to post up and say howdy.

My 95 XJ is currently bone stock, but with some luck this weekend it will be fitted with RE 5.5 coils in front, and RE springs in the back. Next week it gets linked a set of TJ longarms, and a rebuilt 4.0. I'm doing all of the work myself, minus the machine work on the engine. The XJ is a four door, and it is still in good cosmetic shape.

This is my first late model Jeep, I recently sold my 48CJ-2.
It's weird using metric tools again :P

Don't forget those awsome torx bolts we all love so much :laugh3: And welcome.

Thanks for the hello from everyone!

I have a little update on my progress so far.
I wish I had more time to work on it.

1. Removed the engine and axles front / rear
2. Installed an IFS toy 8 rear axle on RE 5.5 springs.
3. Working on 3x3 channel for the unibody rails.
4. Cleaning up a Grand Waggy LP 44 for the front end, prepping the link and coil mount locations on the tube.

5. Building up a centerpan/crossmember for the longarms.

I figure (If the plasma cutter parts came today) that I may have the channel stitch'd into the unibody, and then I can work on the front links)

I'll keep you all informed.

LOL, two jobs?

Well today I finished the left side unibody rail. I should have the driver side done and welded up in the morning. Next is the transmission / link mount bracket.

I should have the front 44 kinda hung in place by next weekend.

how many times did you blow thru the unibody?

:)

Only two times, on the upper stiches. It's really hard to get the torch way up there. I made two passes on the (oops) areas.

The end of the rail was smoking pretty good when I was finished :)
