Another event???

A second event has been talked about for a long time, and like what has been discussed it takes alot of planning and will not happen overnight. There are several small unofficial runs that happen throughout the year and of course the two Redbird cleanups.

At some point one of these runs may become official

I do think we should bring back a Carnagefest at the Badlands sometime over the summer. Stay at the (nicer) Summers Carroll campground and have a big time.

Maybe August?

Big Hank mentioned this at WF also.

But yes, as Rev said, post up a run and get some peeps to join you.

Are you going to drive your jeep to the badlands from summers?

I prefer the badlands campground because its so close.

I've never stayed at Summers but have heard great things. I'll drive the prison bitch full of drunks back to the Badlands! Sometimes I'd rather stay in the nice part of town instead of the trailer park!

attica family is great for going to the badlands because its so close, summers is great for a campground.

If we are going to camp, I'll bring the trailer and camp at summers, and swim in the pool, not go wheelin. It is nicer. But only if your rig is street legal and can do highway speeds, otherwise you have to uproot and move every night/day to move the rig. If I'm taking the rig I'm almost going to have to camp at the attica family.

I do agree with you there. it is far to much of a pia if you are not street legal. it takes me 5 mins to get there cuz i just turn the key and drive, but i wouldn't stay at summers either if i had to trailer it over there.


just pondering here...anyone ever leave thier rig, truck, and trailer in the badlands parking lot? would you trust it? just wondering IF a bunch of people were camping at summers they could give the trailer queens rides to and from the park. BUT you would have to trust leaving your stuff at the badlands...

I've left my jeep and trailer there before and not have a problem. But that was also over 5 years ago the last time...

I guess if I dropped the jeep off at the badlands, then went to the campground and set up camp I could drive the truck back and forth to the campground and leave the trailer there...just seems like extra work when attica camping is there...
