Go wheeling
Get people to join you.
post pictures.
make it a annual thing.
then....ask about making it an event.

how about "The Weekend of Drunken Debochery" wheeling trip?

Did you get that info from Jeremy? The web site doesn't have 2012 yet. Is he losing interest in running the park? The last time I talked with him and his wife they were cutting new trails and working on the existing trails.


Memorial Day will be spent at the drunkfest that's held every year at Dresser. :)

We hope to be insulating and sheetrocking by the weekend, and then it is just the finish work. I would have plenty of room for campers, fires and all the shananigans that we want to ensue. :D

My friend Tim from wi4x4 has been talking with Jeremy setting things up for Memorial weekend, that is where the info is coming from. Here is a link to some info on the run Memorial weekend at Northwoods.

I've talked with the owner in the past couple years on and off and he said he'd be willing to open the park on a 'closed' weekend if we had a group of 10 or more and we stayed in their campground...

I think we could easily pull that off and if needed, I could always pull in some Eau Claire Area Offroaders/Max-Bilt members to 'boost the ranks'....

not trying to be too big of a Dbag kelsey, but this sounds a lot like, "i cant always make it to the events everyone else goes to, so can i get a few people on board to come to me!? pwwwweeeeaaasssseee?"

the few times ive gone with 4 or 5 people took about a month of planning, just to make sure everyone had the same time off.




make it in the summer time dan! i need to try out the doorless thing next time out.

Ummmm no, its just one thing that was talked about alot during elections! Were you even red, and able to vote at the time?

That or Festfest. :laugh:

I really like camping with no fear of hypothermia.

No big vacations planned this year, so hopefully I can make some of these other events. Easter is early next year, so it's not looking good for Winterfest.
 
A second event has been talked about for a long time, and like what has been discussed it takes alot of planning and will not happen overnight. There are several small unofficial runs that happen throughout the year and of course the two Redbird cleanups.

At some point one of these runs may become official
