Another event???

I am sure the BOD is still busy from winterfest but I am annoying so....

There was ALOT of discussion on a second event during the elections. Any further discussion happen inside the super awesome MWC BOD?

Yes, it is going to be about 100' from my backdoor....I will get you directions. :D
 
Sigh.

As we have said before.....many times....if you want a second event get a group together and go wheeling. WF did not just start as an official event, it took many years to grow to that level.

Go wheeling
Get people to join you.
post pictures.
make it a annual thing.
then....ask about making it an event.
The BOD is not going to just wave a magic wand and make another event.

There has been some discussion amongst some of us Northern members. Austin and I are about to work out a schedule with Northwoods Overland for a "Northern Expedition" if you will.

I would hope that most of our Wisconsin members along with Minnesota, Northern Illinois and other locals will be able to make this trip. We are hoping for sometime in the summer/late summer/early fall.

We know people are busy and may not be able to make it, but we want to try something.

I will do some talking with our nearby members and Austin to see about setting something up and keep you masses up to date with a thread in the MWC Staging section post details working out.
 
Mac and I are going to be doing a R&V trip again this year, complete with a bonfire.

All are welcome and it sounds like there will be a few more of us this year.

Can we make it any closer to ya? :D

Northwoods Park by Rib Lake will only be open ONE weekend this year, which will be Memorial weekend. At a later date, things might change but as of now, there will only be wheeling at this location for the one weekend.
I plan on being there Memorial weekend and wheeling Friday, Saturday, and maybe Sunday.
 
Nope, I can't get holidays off, however chances are it will be during the week. I work every weekend and MAC has an equally weird schedule. We will however have the entire park to ourselves.
 
I do think we should bring back a Carnagefest at the Badlands sometime over the summer. Stay at the (nicer) Summers Carroll campground and have a big time.

Maybe August?

Big Hank mentioned this at WF also.

But yes, as Rev said, post up a run and get some peeps to join you.
 
Josh, just a reminder since I know this came up when I saw you last. I know I'm not currently red, but would still be willing to help. I do think I'm the closest one on here to there.
