I'm in the process of installing my D&C cage and i ordered another 20' of tube to add to it. I was thinking of doing something similar to Capt. Nemo's cage with a triangle near the c-pillar (ignore the tape going straight down). Then a single bar spline down the middle of the roof. I'm also building my own hatch speader bar so that I can keep my sound bar. Any thoughts? I thought about also adding the cross brace he has from the c-pillar area down to the floor attachment at the d-pillar. That would be a nice place to mount my CO2 tank.

I stole the "v" idea from AZ Rock Rat Rick :)

Just giving credit where credit's due :D

Rick did mine, but I didn't do the 'X' or 'Y' thing took up to much room, but then I'm not running a back seat.

well i think i'm going to end up just running bars straight down to the floor and try to angle them in slighty to hit above the frame. it just doesnt make sense to run the V unless you have some support structure under there.

yeah i thought about that. but i would also lose a lot of cargo area. my spare wouldnt fit anymore and my wife and I some times sleep in the jeep instead of setting up a tent.

There is structure under there.

There is a crossmember for the upper mounts for the rear shocks that runs right where the "V" comes down to the floor.
