A friend called me and told me his neighbor had an old jeep truck frame that he was going to scrap if he couldn't sell it by the end of this week. First it was $1500, then $500 then $350.
I eventually wlked away with it for $300.
It's a '73 J2000 half ton. Short bed. 360/T15/D20 with D44's front and rear and 4.09 gears.
Happens that I have a '73 J truck cab and front clip. So this will get the gladiator treatment on the grill (that's hanging up in my garage) and might end up being one of my kid's first vehicles.
Yay...another jeep! LOL sigh...I'm a sad sad man.
Here's the cab that I was going to use on the '67 J3000 RV...but we ended up having to scrap the RV as the frame was toast.
Kinda neat how it worked out anyway!
Not mine but I LOVE this look and can't wait to put the cab and front clip together with my rhino grill!!!
