A friend called me and told me his neighbor had an old jeep truck frame that he was going to scrap if he couldn't sell it by the end of this week. First it was $1500, then $500 then $350.

I eventually wlked away with it for $300.

It's a '73 J2000 half ton. Short bed. 360/T15/D20 with D44's front and rear and 4.09 gears.

Happens that I have a '73 J truck cab and front clip. So this will get the gladiator treatment on the grill (that's hanging up in my garage) and might end up being one of my kid's first vehicles.

Yay...another jeep! LOL sigh...I'm a sad sad man.

Here's the cab that I was going to use on the '67 J3000 RV...but we ended up having to scrap the RV as the frame was toast.

Kinda neat how it worked out anyway!

Not mine but I LOVE this look and can't wait to put the cab and front clip together with my rhino grill!!!

I am incredibly jealous.

Your worse than me.... And I brought home half of a dirt bike one time...

Damn that's funny! I brought home half a dirtbike about a month ago!! And my friend got it running! (the dirtbike)

Nice. Always loved the j trucks

My crank came in this week for mine.... I'm putting the motor cases together next week. When I'm done it will be a zero hour brand new 1990 trail bike

Sweet! Cab truck time? Tellico hybrid?

How many clean MJs do you have?!

I want that trailer.

Unfortunately right now i only have 1. The little blue one was going to be a DD but the wife wouldn't have it and I didn't want it to sit. Ran like a top too and virtually rust free. All it needed was a dash and seats. There are quite a few MJ's running around our area...I see at least 1-2 nearly every day. I'm only the 3rd owner ever on my built one...I can't wait to flog it in July!

The trailer is for sale for $500,000 and I will let the matching 78 CJ 5 go with it! :) LOL

Yeah the little dirtbike we picked up was headed for scrap but my neighbor let me take it. Early 80's honda XR80. Needs a little bit of everything...and a lot of somethings. But it runs and we have $0 in it. I also recently picked up a '74 Kawasaki KS 125 dual sport for $100. Little old lady bought in NC back in 1975...rode it for a few months and then parked it never to ride it again. I got it for $100 and it only has 747 original miles on it..should have it running VERY soon! Will probably have a DD capable bike for less than $300 once it's running.

No cab truck for this one Glen...Calvin is out there with a wire brush on the frame as we speak! I think he's taken a liking to it.

My 416 was my 'truck' when I had no truck. Not much you can't do with one!

An M416 can't float you across a lake.

Oh wait, it can!

I'm sure mine could at some point in it's life...now though...not so much. :(

Mine had a 'new' floor welded in at some point...but they didn't cutout th eold one completely and the new welds (which are probably 20 years old now) are not that great. She's as solid as a rock but would need to be restored to float again.
