2014 Cherokee.

If i win the lottery i'm buying one and making the front end actually look right! That's the thing I hate about them....but if I was given a trailhawk.....I'd DD the shit out of it. After all, I did own a neon!

I'd like to see diesel electrics built like in locomotives. THe diesel engine doesn't actually drive the wheels but runs the generator(s) to run the electric motors driving the wheels.

I know dodge (cummins) and the US military were working on something like that...which means it's out there.

I don't recall a diesel electric hybrid in the Dodge trucks but we(I work at Cummins) were working on them in the big trucks.

I believe it was in a JP magazine many years ago. It was a supposed project but I never heard whether or not it came to fruition...I'm guessing it didn't.

Redheep, the list of vehicles similar to the jeep Cherokee are all vehicles in the niche market of somewhat customizable vehicles with some Offroad capability and ruggedness. I liked all of them except the dodge Durango. And the cherokee/grand Cherokee were the only ones on the list that were unibody. They all could handle some abuse, maybe the new one, however ugly and high tech it may be, will as well.
