2005 Sierra Chapter event schedule

I like Ryan, it's bad enough he has to work on BR's rig! Ryan would have to charge him for more than gears to endure that pain. :D

Thanks Chuck. Yeah, Ryan is a good guy and I trust my buildup in his hands as well as buying the parts I needed through him. Don't worry I paid him a good amount, but he helped me out as well to compensate me for the 2 round trips down there to Encinitas from Sacramento. :laugh3: All is good.

Any of you want to try to make a snow run in march? I will be attending the Kingsburg 4x4 club annual snow run. It is the first weekend of march and open to anyone with a sufficient vehicle. It would be fun to run with a few cherokars rather than the overwhelming numbers of toys and broncos! just an idea.

I hear U, I know we all have to be givers and not takers. I would love to host a run and volunteer but U keep shooting my posts down. I want to be a productive member of this chapter not the instigator many people think I am.

I have never run the JV trails and just ran the Con/Fordyce this summer. Since I have as much $ as I do into my rig, I need to justify it by running the hard trails. Otherwise I would have left it alone and just keep running the local stuff, not to hard to complain about the Con and Fordyce, many people would love to be able to run these trails on a regular basis.

I can at this time only host the Bowman Lake/Malokoff Diggins trail near Nevada City as I have run it a few times and know it very well. It is just a snow run, so we'd have to do it pretty soon. Unfortunately I will not have my jeep back for another month or so. So at this point I could tenatively do that run mid to late March, hopefully there will still be some snow to make it a challenge.

I could also host some informal runs along the way and get stuff going for a run to the Con and Fordyce during the summer. I'm not trying to irritate by my reapeated posts, sorry I didn't realize how irritating I was till Jes pasted all my posts to his post, sorry. :gag:

Jes, looks like you got one more to add to that list.

BR - I'm pretty sure Brian was indicating you should start your own thread and stop posting in this one for JV. Since you don't seem to understand that I've done it for you. I even made the first post for you.

Sure I might be up to that if I have my jeep back by then. Do U have more details on that run? Sounds like fun. I might even want to do that run over Terra Del Sol. I could even come out there on my way back up north from Encinitas. We have to show those toy/bronco people what XJ's can do. :laugh3:

I'm good for that one, unless it conflicts with Holister.

If U do, I'm going to sick my little Silky Terrier "Danny" on U, he's a 13 lbs fur ball of terror. :laugh3: I'll make it if I get my jeep back in time.

I will hold off on my desire to run the JV trails for now. What are the plans for the local runs and when?
