2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ Sport with 68K miles. The Jeep is custom built with $30K invested. The work was done professionally with only the best parts. The Jeep drives great on the highway, so there’s no need to trailer it. You can drive around town, or do the toughest trails. I get an audience for it everywhere it goes. I don’t want to sell, but need to. The Jeep is like new, and all the parts are new.

Hey, you've posted your ad on a forum where 99% of the users ALREADY HAVE AN XJ. What did you expect?

Read the posts that constantly get put on your ad threads Luke. They're the voices of reality, reason and experience. Your rig is over priced in this market and economy.

In the last 3 years you've only used the forums to try to sell your stuff....... and obviously unsuccessfully.

Sorry man, but what did you expect at this point?

Part that thing out if you want to maximize the return on your investment. Otherwise, embrace the black hole of financial suckage that is Jeep modification.

Reality can be a tough pill to swallow Luke. You're only getting this kind of response because you don't seem to want to deal with the reality...... over and over.

Keep it, 'wheel it, enjoy the crap out of it. You certainly paid for it.

Otherwise, suck it up and be real with your pricing/valuation.

Everyone here would LOVE it if we could get double what our rigs are worth........
 
:roflmao: I sold my rig, better built for the equivalent of $6500! You guys are bringing the PHUNNAY today! Nothing personal, dude, we just call them as we see them.
 
There are deals out there I bought my xj super cheap and its semi built for hella cheap, I think this is priced way high due, to xjs being a dime a dozen here
 
My original comment was based on the fact that this thing has been popping up in the "Best of Craigslist" thread for what seems like a year now as a big joke. I never thought I would actually see the thing get posted for sale here.

There are definitely some nice aspects of the rig, but I'm sorry man you won't get 12K$ for it. My neighbor can't get 10K$ for his YJ and it is a lot more built than yours w/ an Atlas, Tera 60's, 37" Krawlers, full hydro, etc. Wanglers typically get a lot more money too.

Either one I find mildly amusing and wonder how me thinking one's asking price is a joke in any way determined my 60,000$ per year income as a college drop out. Still, you got me. I am poor, could you call up your homeboy Obama and ask him to lift the COLA freeze on federal employees and go ahead and back pay me my 3yrs of missing COLA's while he is at it?

Not when you're trying to sell an 11 year old Jeep for 3 times the KBB value of it. Modifications or not, its still a 2001 Jeep.
