Looks like an aftermatket wood kit. Saw one at the JY with similar treatment on the dash bezel. Oh yeah, it had an ice cream top, and mood lighting. Still can't imagine what they used it for :huh:

saw that one. had an old school tv and vcr in there to boot. seen lots of explorers on the road like that, but never an xj

Yeah, it was kind of sad to see all the A/V equipment smashed. Why do folks have to be like that?

I think Souske is right, I believe is an after market kit on the dash trim!
