I'll go too, are you guys thinking off splitting the blue/black group into two groups? Ten rigs wheeling blacks in the snow will definitely slow things down. Smaller groups usually move a lot faster and are easier for trail guides to spot for. On that note do you need or have you chosen trail guides. I've wheeled there for years and would be glad to help out.

Yeah, I think we'll end up splitting into at least two blue/black groups, possibly more but we'll see. Good to know that you would be willing to take a group, I may take you up on that.

Is there still a lot of snow up there? I haven't checked it out recently. Should be fun!!!

Looks snowy and slick especially in the hills but that's normal for Rausch in January. We'll see that could change by saturday. I'm in no matter what.

I don't think so right now, we'll see though. I've been on unemployment for months so unless somebody's willing to put me up I'm looking at just driving out Saturday.
I'd like to drive out Friday and stop off at Sunset Hill Shooting Range that place is a blast. They got every gun you can think of. I might bring my new Taurus, get there in the afternoon, play around for a while and head out to PA for the night but I don't know yet. Gotta see what the money situation is but I'm pretty broke. I just hate driving out in the morning, wheeling all day, then driving home. It's like 12 to 16 hours straight in the jeep.

x2. i don't want to wheel in a group of more than five or six, regardless of the weather. it's just too much. it looks like we have enough experienced people to find a few guides. i'll lead a group if need be.

I dont know about that, I was gonna run with the blue group, but maybe ill switch back then, dont know if its such a good idea to have people following you. Kind of like the crazy leading the blind.

OK no big deal, I had checked out the forum to see as well, but in all honesty, we'll have fun if its perfectly dry or a foot of snow, so I am not worried.

From what I can see from peoples most recent pictuers is there is no snow up there currently.
