1/23 Wheeling at Rausch Creek...

Have a blast guys..Sorry I won't be there. But take tons of pix and video..Lay the smackdown on the trails guys!!
 
I kick the tires and light the fires at 0600 tomorrow - want to allow myself a little extra time since I have to renew my membership and get a new 5-day pass without holding things up.

Time to break in baby's new shoes (yes, I finally ditched the "redneck whitewalls").

sorry i had to ditch early. exhausted, and still had some stuff to do when i got home. U guys were a blast to go wheeling with

Some pics , we had a good day. Ran down trail 2, crawler ridge, 10A&B, trail 23, pole line, trial 12 & some comp course. No big probs other than Rob blowing a tire & leaking gas everywhere! A few new dents here and there but it was nice weather & a good day.

Not a good day for me, broke an inner shaft inside the locker on the first trail.:mad: We spent the next 3 hours or so disassembling the entire axle to get the broken piece out. What a bitch!!! I had enough at that point so I called it a day, headed home around lunch. Thanks to everybody in our group for helping out and providing some laughs. I am curious how the rest of the day went. Hope you guys got to get in some good wheeling in the afternoon.

Thanks for coming out Rob!! It was great meeting you. We actually went back down and ran all the way through Cemetary, than went and ran Trail 5 with a few of us trying the hillclimb closer to the power line. It was a great day.

Sorry for trying that red line, but I have been looking at that section ever since September (when we first scouted that trail out) and just HAD to try it yesterday.

It was a fun day. If you want to do it again, we should be getting together up there again next month.

My Jeep had so much fun wheeling yesterday that it decided to stay up at Rausch. It likes it up there so much that I'm gonna have to find a truck and trailer to haul it home.

I've got some good videos that I'll get posted today sometime.
 
yesterday was awesome. stumbling across NAXJA was the best thing I have ever done.
now i can say "I survived the gauntlet."

I have some pics and videos that Ill try to have up by tomorrow.

Yes, it was a nice-cold day to wheel, and glad to see alot of you guys come out for the trail ride. The hardcore group had a great time, even though Rob broke his inner drive shaft. Good to hear that everyone else had an awesome time, and it was a blast hanging out at O'Neils afterwards, for a few beers and some much needed FOOD!
