Damn, going camping that weekend.

Tenny, if you don't find a skid let me know I've got a spare one sitting in the yard.

Sure thing. I saw one a few weeks back, but I couldn't get it off for the life of me. Then I was considering how I'm pulling with all my force, underneath the vehicle while it's shaking and only being held up by a set of rims...Didn't want to take my chances with it coming down on me. One of my buddy's told me later to get a engine hoist next time and lift the Jeep with one of those and I may have better success w/o the worry. Went back a few days after that and the jeep was gone :(

If anyone needs anything ... slightly easy to get off let me know and I'll try to grab one.

Well, I did a little early scouting at the Rancho Cordova location...

I found 2 HP44's with weld-on radius arm wedges. One was from a '66 f-series with drum brakes and the other was under a '77 f-series which had disc brakes and still has a 9" housing under it.

A ZJ gas tank skid (fits '97+ XJ with minor mods)

I stopped counting at 5 pre-'97 gas tank skid plates.

At least 2 hitches.

A couple gauge pods.

3 MJs, but none w/ D44s out back.

And a partridge in a pear tree?

Anybody gonna be at that location on Friday morning?

Billy

Anyone know what they charge for an XJ electric fan? Also, what are my odds of finding a good one (87 by the way though I wouldn't mind a newer one with the curvy blades)?

Yup. And I hear you could use a fan shroud? I'll keep an eye out!
Give me a call if you wanna meet up at PnP!
Billy

I'll call you when I'm off work tomorrow around 3:30pm and see if you're still out there...

fan shroud would be awesome if you see one! kind of a bitch to get out with the radiator in though IIRC...

$70 from the one on 2nd street I believe it is near Southern Lumber.
