Please post information here regarding what kinds of trails you would like to run during the Windrock Flog. List the capabilities of your rig, etc.

If you want to lead a ride, please post what kind of trails you plan to run and the difficulty level. This will help others plan who they want to group up with.

I cleaned up a previous thread where some had started discussing trails and difficulties. Please post that information here.

Thanks

it all depends on the weather if its dry id be willing to take a small group to 39, if a waterpump fixes my broken jeep next week, even dry we'll spend a good couple hours on the last 100 yards. 35's and at least one locker would be minumum, 33's two lockers and a heavy disregard for bangin around it could be done as well. the rest of the day could be filled in with a usual 15 to little mule run and maybe the end of 3

I want some new territory on Saturday. Sunday's run I could do 15 over to Little Mule then maybe, depending on weather, 3 or Rattle Rock.

I'm looking at leading a group of 5-7 rigs through some good trailriding and some harder obsticals, there will be harder stuff but it is bypassable. 33"s and at least 1 locker are a must and armor/ recovery gear is preferred but not required. I plan to do some moving so epect to be on the ball and ready to log 25-30 miles if you think you can keep up.

I shall follow you Matt. Maybe on Sunday depending on conditions I'll do some stupid stuff but its not worth ending the trip on Saturday so I'll save that for Sunday.

im up for it matt. looks like mark is coming, and quite possibly his friend roger. both with tj's on 33's locked front/rear.

ok, been looking at my windrock map...think ive got a good route planned out for anyone interested:
Start out with trail 2 (moderate and 3.2 miles),
then take gravel road 1 to gravel road 5 to a left on gravel road 6.
from there hit trail 35 (moderate and 2.7 miles)
and trail 36 (moderate and 1.2 miles).
36 turns back into gravel road 6,
then hit trail 27 (moderate and 1.8 miles).
after that hang a right onto trail 26 (moderate and 3.9 miles).
left back onto gravel road 6, then right onto gravel road 5.
From there take trail 22 (moderate and 5.9 miles) back to the parking lot.

that should be a full day of trail riding and new trails...

i dont really care too much what i do so long as i get to air down really good and make it through some trials. i think i want to try that little trail up the hill going to trail 3 that thebox, doug, tyler(ford) all did last time. thats really all i have to accomplish next weekend.

Is there anyone going that will be doing some easier trails? It looks like I'm the only little guy that will be there.

I'm not about body damage and breakage. I may just run gravel roads and do some looking around.

...dangit, the same trails we've all done, over and over...

I'm up for something new, as is Tyler. I plan to go sight seeing/exploring on Friday... expecting most people to show up saturday, i'll ride some harder trails with a larger group, and then sunday could be either more sight seeing, or a couple decently challenging trails...

i want to rack up some mileage though! the Willys will be 1 year old now, and i still have less than 300 miles on it!!!

lol you need to get it out more then!!!

and i think im in the same boat, some hard trails on saturday and sunday (if not broke *knock on wood*)more of a decent trails cuz i dont want to get stuck SOL on the day im suppose to go home. and the wife wants me home asap but im atleast not leaving till after lunch sunday.

<--- excited about the weekend camping trip. :D

you would think... :roflmao:

funny thing about the 276 miles... is i've probably wheeled it atleast 10 times, maybe more... and i've always had a full tank of gas each trip, and i've used the extra 5 gallons i carry a few times.
...so i probably get the worst gas mileage out of any of us :bawl:

No, that would be me, its amazing how much lead foot driving with a built engine kills your mileage! :gee:

I don't want to put around, Im kinda thinking Atomic Ridge on Friday, and maybe some sight seeing too. I'll save the same ole same ole for when everybody else arrives, because you know that's what people are gonna do.

The "usual" trails wouldn't bother me, but when you have 10 rigs doing one trail such as 15, you can be there for 2 hours easy. But 3 well built rigs and a "we are here to get some serious riding done" attitude can get through it in 5 minutes. I just wanna do something different this time... I say this every time, but we always end up on the same trails...

see this is why ive always wanted to invest in a good gps and really mapthe place.... id buy a trail map but they suck... i gues we'll just figure it out as usual when we get there

my passenger... cody, rides 4 wheelers up at windrock fairly often.
he also has a map... and when i looked at it... any part of windrock i have ever seen, is maybe 1/6th of the property! so i'm ready to do some exploring!
