1.25x12 taps

Anybody have the right and left hand taps for 1.25 x 12 rod ends? I need to chase my tube inserts after welding them in. Springs or maybe meet and greet? I have a total of 3 links that need done. Can bring beer or something too! Thought I'd check before I buy taps that will rarely get used.

Plug welded them didn't ya . I never really got the deal with 1 or two small rosette welds through 1/4 tube into a super thin tube adapter wall . The amount of weldment for the full circumference if the adapter is usually sufficient. I will slip the next size tube over the end of the link at the end this allows me to weld this small section of tube to the link and to the adapter giving me twice the weldment and area holding my joint to the tube ... I think this beats plug welding sheet steel .

Not plug welded. Think just the heat was enough to distort them slightly. Ruff stuff even says they usually need to be chased after welding.

Might try calling machine shops. Burt's had them, but they are out of business.

Ended up ordering the Rh tap since I found it for $30 shipped. Gonna call some machine shops so we'll see. C and j machine is just down the road from me.
