Some locals showed us some pretty cool trails near Sedona yesterday

First up was Smasher Canyon. It's a pretty cool trail with lots of options.

we made it through Smasher problem free except me losing a tail light. So naturally we're feeling froggy, so we decide to run Brutal.

Only one of the three who tried made it up the first obstacle

Next up was me. I gave it hell 3 times only to be denied.

Then Gasman gave it hell with another approach

everyone else bypassed. In between the main obstacles this trail is full of 3 wheel shots and pumpkin killers. This trail is very challenging. So we get to the second water fall. Bull walked it like a speedbump.

Ok so let me say this first.

Grant is a wheeler for sure. I've seen him drag this 31" clad tire rig through Upper Ajax. He's a wheeler. So without further adue!

We got him strapped over on to all four.

After getting him back on all four he took another shot which took out a ujoint so we had to strap him off the obstacle.

I didn't get any pics of the last "hard section" But you better believe, it's NUTS!
Brutal is full of under cuts and will test your build and skills. Not for the faint of heart.
 
Cool trails for sure! Thanks for letting me come along. My flat towing days are coming to an end, on the way home I had horrible shake below 55 . Time to shop for a trailer.

Anytime, thanks for taking us up on the invite. I hear you on the tow rig/trailer part too. I'm hoping to have both by RockFest also.

I could have been a bit longer winded but I figure I'd let the pics speak for themselves.
 
John, sorry I missed ya on Saturday I guess I should have kept talking for a few more minutes and you would have made it all the way to the corner before everybody took off to meet ya. I WILL be running with ya next time as I got my part ordered and I'm more than ready!!! I was so kicking myself as everyone drove off and left me on the corner; it ruined my morning. :mad:
