44s & a 3 link

yeah....warns seem to be the easiest to use and replace/repair.

Ya they are pretty easy to replace on the trail, right after you blow them up. I've had them for about 2 years now.

1st hub (dirty because it fell on the ground after taking off the dial)

2nd hub a few trips later

...both hubs were broken on 33" tires, not doing insanely stupid things. I don't know, they just haven't held up for me like everyone has said. They looked to be better construction than the superwinch hubs that were on the axle when I got it though.

The whole front end is basically finished, the only things left are to bleed the brakes, install my hubs, which should be here in about an hour, fill the axle with fluid and put my HD dif cover on.

For the whole jeep to be done, i need to install my rear pads, wheel cylinders and spring kits, bleed the brakes, fluid, do my rim stiffeners, and install my wheel spacers in the rear.

I did a driveway allignment with a tape measure, i set the toe in at about 1/8 inch, the caster is about 4 degrees, the trackbar was eyeballed straight. Im going to have it done professionally once its on its wheels again.

Enough talk, heres a couple pics.

The front drive shaft looks a little stretched!!! Looks like ur at the splines. Be careful at full droop.

I have both an auto DS and a manual DS, thats the manual DS currently in, i had my auto shaft, but it was fully collapsed, ill keep an eye on it.

And thank you!

The more I think about it over a few beers.....
Once it's on the ground it may look a little different.
Mine is about halfway if that makes sense.(half way to the splines)

Where in Jersey r u??
My dad lives in Hackettstown. You close??

Im in paramus, hackettstown is about an hour from me.

Im hoping the DS will be okay, i dont feel like getting this lengthened. We well see the first time i flex it out.

This build is moving fairly quickly I like it

Some of us build too fast to have a build thread :p

fo real. ive never had a jeep see more than a weekend of downtime while building.

but thats probably why ive gone through 3 of them in the past 4 years

I was hunting vibes before the build and now with the 4.88s, the vibes are really bad, so i hopped under the jeep while it was in gear, and the RE hack n tap is bent.

Now i need a new sye, and i need to figure out what to do with my ds.

Hack and taps suck bad.

Get an advanced adapters SYE. They are nice and $199 direct from them.

Oh yea and copperhead fab sucks major dick. They never answer the phone, make empty promises, never respond to my messages, and ive been waiting on their rim stiffeners for a while now.

Its driveable! The brakes are spongy as hell, and all the airs out of the system, as well as the rear brakes are adusted properly, and it needs an allignment, especially more caster.

Any clues as to why the brakes are spongy?
