In commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of the Jeep Cherokee XJ,  will be hosting a 25th Anniversary Celebration in beautiful Moab, Utah on Oct 6th-12th.
Just for this event, is building a Jeep XJ that will be given away. This is our second undertaking of a giveaway jeep. The first one was given away at the 20th Anniversary Event.
This year's rig is a 1996 Jeep Cherokee that will be a very capable off-road vehicle.
This Jeep will be given away in the midst of the 25th Anniversary Celebration event in Moab, Utah on October 10, 2008.

I searched and found nothing however, this is my first post so plz let me know if i missed something?
93 XJ brake handle button spring etc. came apart...cant find info in the chiltons manual can anyone help with parts and or reassembly?

I own and have ran the JCR 1 ton steering for a while now. Lots of people love the setup but after a while of use, it seems like some people have been ditching their setup for something else for various reasons and wanted to hear about the reasons.
This thread is NOT:
1. A "should I buy it?" thread.
2. A Personal bashing thread.
3. A thread about how much better other steering systems work.
This thread is for:
1. People who have the JCR 1 Ton to post their overall feedback about the product.
2. People who have swapped the JCR 1 ton system for something else and why.
3. People to collect all feedback and opinions from this thread to help them decide whether its right for them.

Hey all,
Just need some advice on some different lifts I was looking at. I have an 88 XJ that I have torn apart. Engine is at the machine shop and I just recieved the parts for the tranny and transfer case, but I was looking to put a lift on also and was looking at a couple different options. I was only going to run 31's since I have a new set and don't want to pony up the dough for new tires so I was going to run either a rustys 3" or 4.5" since they seem to be the best price. Anybody have any comments good bad or ugly on the rustys stuff? Anybody running those lifts and which one works the best with 31" tires?

Replaced my TPS and tried to set it by back probing. Found I was getting 0.017 volts at the tps (ignition on) so checked the plug disconnected at the opposite end - it too shows 0.017 volts as well. How do I get 5.0 volts? What am I missing? This is the first time I've ever replaced a tps and had to set it. Found excellent stuff from you guys before I attempted this and took the advice from some of you on here and ordered it from chryslerparts, which I might add, gave me excellent service. It hasn't corrected my shifting problem (yet), too slow upshifting from standstill, and giving crap mileage, but since it is not getting the 5volts it needs I can understand these results, other than that, she drives smoothly once I manually shift the auto. Thanks for help in advance
