4.6L stroker in the works

You said ealry in the thread that your machinist recommended against the deck removal that you requested, but you never said what you decided to romove. How much did you cut off the deck, and what was the resulting quench?

You also stated early that your goal was to run regular gas, which I assume is 89 octane in VA. Then later in the thread, you said you just finished a tank of mid-octane gas and would get a tank of regular the next day. You never posted the result. How does your stroker run on 89 octane fuel?
