Zips 2.0 My 98 build

I got hit by a driver coming the other way and it looks like insurance will want to total it. **** this.

pics or STFU

It doesnt look to bad but do to my tire hitting the other car it pushed my frame over and ****ed my steering box up as well as ball joints. The frame is cracked in between the track bar and steering box. I am able to fix that my self but the issue is insurance will most likely total it. If they do I have found an 01 for replacment. I will swap my stuff over and do this one "Right". By right I mean at the very least stiffeners before I dent the unibody up. I really hope I can talk them into giving me a good sum to fix it as is.

I am over in the middle of the road because I slid trying to avoid the toyota.

You both need to learn how to stay on your side of the road during blind corners lol.

I was on mine till I saw her then I moved over trying not to hit her or the people walking. My skid marks in another pic show this. The cops agreed and said it was the other drivers fault.

Also next jeeps getting hydro assist.

How did insurance get to your jeep anyway? I've been in a few accidents (not at fault) driving a lifted xj. Each time the police show up, do a report, tell me i'm not at fault, and I can drive home. That is usually the end of it.

One time though I received a letter from the lawyer of other party in an accident telling me to give them money or be sued even when the police report stated I was 100% not at fault. I call up my insurance company (progressive) and the fellow on the other end told me not to worry about anything and if I hear from them again to tell them to go pound sand. And they were right, I never heard from them again.

Insurance got a hold of my jeep via me making a claim. I didn't think they would want to total it. I was trying to get a few bucks towards getting the stiffeners from ruff stuff and bumpers. I didn't realize how bad the jeep got damaged till I crawled under it. And then yeah it's looking like I dicked my self not realizing how bad insurance was with xjs. I don't know for certain it's totaled but it has a high chance of it.

since they were 100% at fault, let insurance total it, get your money and buy it back.

That's the plan. Then I will pick up a Nice 01 and leave it stock till I completely strip my current jeep. Then stiffen and slider it 35s and call it a day.

After far to long I did some stuff.
Trans cooler is in!

Better yet
New control arm bushings ordered.

Even better I just spent money with dirtbound offroad! Also I need some weighing in
Should I make adjustable uppers or just buy them?
Thoughts are that when I do go radius arm I will just reuse them and the ruffstuff heims.

yea worn springs or broken pins
