zerks and oil gun

The oil gun end should slide over the zerk right? Im having a hard time making this happen.

yes, it should go over the grease fitting.
i allways wipe off the end of the zerk before putting the grease gun over it to avoid contaminating the grease.
maybe a different sized tip for your grease gun? i know zerks come in different sizes, but that may just be the thread pitch.
make sure you're pushing the grease gun head on into the fitting.

you should be able to unscrew the end of the tip where the grease comes out of the hose. If it is too tight it will not alow it to slip over the Zerk fittings. Thee should be three little wedges inside of the tip that alow the tip to "snap" over the Zerk. Try to adjust the tip and it should slide over....I hope
