:banghead: Today was just a shitty day. First off I was burning out the bushings in my front axle when a piece of lit rubber fell onto the floor, where I had laid down some thin plastic drop cloth to protect my new driveway from the paint thinner and grease that was dripping from the axle as I cleaned it just prior.
Now some might say it was very foolish of me to even play with fire with a river of mineral spirits immediatly below me..but the stuff really doesnt not burn easilly in spite of what the bottle says.....except this time. The thin drop cloth was like kindling, it cought fire the paint thinner made matters worse...before I knew it everything is on fire and the PLASTIC saw horses my front axle was laying on started to melt and buckle so I ran, and grabbed the extinguisher...fire was out...what a mess, now the new $10,000 driveway had grease, oil, mineral spirits, and melted plastic all over it.
Cant let that delay me...back to work.
Start to box my lower control arm brackets only to discover that I boxed in THE WRONG SIDE!!!!!!!! AAAAArrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhh :doh:
Thats when I said enough for today...grabbed the Chivas R. and all has been well ever since :gee:
