Your 108 day to do list for NWF

Trying to shorten my "To Do" list.

Stuck on a Steering stabalizer. How are you guys doing?

Won't get everything done, but put protection to the top.

Anyone have any helping hints no how to get the lower Steering stabalizer stud out? Dang thing is pressed in and in no hurry to come out. A can of WD40 and PB Blaster later, no luck. Thinking about warming the parts up, but don't want to add fire to all of the chemicals under there. Really don't want to go buy an air compessor and tools. Anybody got any better ideas?

if this is the stud that presses into the tie rod, then take the tie rod out and set on top of a vice and hit the top of it with a BFH, of course you have to do this right at the spot where its pressed in. and dobn't hit the stud itself but the tierod, the idea is that it's supposed to deform the hole for a split second and push the stud out. this also works with TRE's and just about any other press fit locations.

As far as what i have left, the new upper long arms go in tomorrrow, after i drill out the upper bushings for 1/2" bolts then i can sit it back on the ground and take measurements for the trackbar, then i need to flush the cooling system and install the new rad and somehow build mounts for the new fan, oh yeah and somehow change the o-rings on the rear ARB. This should be the worst part as the axle was assembled with a case spreader.

4. Money part got this tied up
5. Complete

Want to do
1. got the steel, just not the time
2. Finished, however im short of cash and cannot get the hoses, so if anyone wants to bring 3 garden hoses and a sprinkler then everyone can try this out.
3. Completed

And the one thing i forgot to list is the new 4-link longarm front suspension which is being completed this weekend, it's a FT style. i have yet to even drive it on the road so i hope it works.

And i need to swap some s-10 calipers on the rear becasue the damn caddy caliper adjuster froze up, again.

With the gods of all things offroad on my side, i just might make it!

I'm still trying to make it, im going to wait on the calipers till after weds. im now trying to find a fan spacer so that i don't have to worry about mounting the new electric. so i only have to build the trackbar and it's mount. and change the o-rings in the ARB.

Ahahaha....
I've got all my parts sitting in my garage still. I need to get to work.

I've got some toasted carrier bearings in my Dana 30 with my 4:56's and locker installed. If I can find the bearings and a press, (unless someone has a good backyard, "press-less" method) I can have it ready in 10 minutes.

I need to replace those, throw in the axles, put on the skid plates and install the front tow hooks. Then the rig will at least be worthy of wheelin'. No where near what I wanted it to be. Although, at least I've solved my cooling problem.

Downfall to this idea is that there are three points to uninstall to take the tie rod off. All three of them are the same type of pressed connection that I am fighting right now. Won't budge.

Going to get some pickle forks this afternoon to give it a shot.

ACtually the same principal applies, on the pitman arm, put the arm straight and swing the hammer from back to front and hit the end of the arm, shuare on the end by where the dragling preeses in. on the knuckle do the same, i learned this trick awhile ago and it always works for me. just leav the nut onthe end for 2 reasons, 1 when it comes out it won't fall to the ground and hit you, 2 if you miss where your aiming you won't kill the threads.

Good luck

And as of right now other than some fluid changes and installing the trackbar i should be ready for wed. I should know for sure tomorrow night.
