So I think this would be the best place to post this up, due to it being strictly for this side of the mountain.
So I have been wanting to take a two maybe three day street bike ride/tour around all of Yosmite since last summer. I am bored of all the local bay area roads, mostly because I got her last year at the begining of summer and put just over 9,000 miles on her locally. I've been to Yosemite valley twice, once for about 30 min. and another to have lunch at the wanyee (or how ever its spelt) for about an hour. Really want to cruise ALL the back roads and see all the cool places.
Plan is to get a Hotel room in Mariposa that way theres gas and food close by. Cruise around the valley, go up and over Tiago Pass and cruise around on those back roads and were ever else the roads lead to around the general area of Yosemite. Also if any of you all know of any other cool twistys up there let me know.
I'll be on my Drz400sm so I can go about 120 miles to the tank. I also have one of my buddys on a KTM 400 and maybe my brothers with a brand spanking new 2012 Ducati, another with a Susuki crotch rocket and another with a Harley. We all ride with each others and do NOT ditch each other ever. So if your not so much about the speed then its all cool cause I'm just wanting to cruise and not hit a bear. HAHAHAHA
So who's down?????
