I think the best one was the scene in the Goonies. When you watch it, there are several close-ups of the interior, but the best is when Mama stops on the beach and announces: "Have trust in your ol' mother boys! Throw it into four-wheel drive and hold onto your hats!" And then she engages 4-hi and proceeds to leave all the other trucks lookin silly.

The scenes in Cast Away were good, but Tom Hanks kept referring to his XJ as a car.:confused1

This is too wierd!!! I watched that movie LAST NIGHT and was going to post it here today. "Stacey Sutton" drives a white '85 4-door in a couple scenes.

Yesterday, (holiday here in Brazil) I was watching "The Goonies" with my kids at Nick.....the funny is, when I first watched this movie back in 80's....Cindy's sountrack.....I remeber my self about the bad guys SUV....I tought to my self on those days: "I wish I had one of those".....

me and the wife have been watching the seasons of "24" on dvd, jack drives a white jeep in a couple episodes, and in season 4 when tony comes back to work for CTU his ride is a blue XJ

There was a red XJ in the Bourne Identity. When Jason and Marie went to hide at her friend's house somewhere in Europe...

Now that I think of it, there was one that was blown up/burned in one of the first Diagnosis Murder episodes, an early H.O. Limited IIRC, then there was one in the Highlander series when that was shot in France that was very close to the Ronin XJ in apearance, there was also a "cop" one that was destroyed in one of the post NBC Viper episodes, and finally I seem to remember a 2.8l XJ on nitrous that ran and hid from KITT in an episode of Nightrider.

I don't remember about the one with nitrous, but I do remember a red one in a first season episode of Nightrider. IIRC the bad guys where transporting C-4, or something in it. There was a Silver 97+ in one of the first season episodes of CSI. There was a girl driving it, and some guy that she made mad come up behind her in a big SUV, and pushed her into a train.
