XJ's in the movies?!?!?

I remember one nobody has mentioned. In the movie Baby Boom, when Diane Keaton's character quits her job, she buys a grand waggy and heads to Vermont.

I had caught a little bit of CSI Miami the other night and thought they had a torched a <'96 XJ (was supposed to have as woman that was 7 weeks pregnant in it), and then there was a red '92ish Sport on "A Haunting" last night with the 12 hole rims (kinda looks like a flat version of the Turbo Dodge "Pizza Wheels".)

there is a movie about a buncha guys in the woods who get invaded by snake-like aliens and their childhood friend who is retarded or somethin' turns out to be an alien by the name of Mr. gray,the one who kills the main alien at the end.they drive a wagoneer around the whole movie i think like an 88.

In the movie Dumb and Dumber, when Harry is filling up the dog van at a gas station on their way to Aspen, there is that chick that is driving a green 4 door. Harry asks her about the skis, then BS's with her. He rests on his hand on the mirror, and it fell off. Then he lit her a cig, and then his foot caught on fire, while trying to get her number.

Great movie.

Last night's 'Prison Break' they were driving a green grand waggy and 2 weeks ago the same one... and last night as well there was a newer silver Cherokee parked outside the cigar club... shortly after Scofield almost ran over Bill Kim in the grand waggy... how that little crasian is so tough, I do not know.

Yeah don't they crash it or something to avoid the person sitting in the road? Or was that another vehicle....I forget.

It was a neat movie because Damien Lewis use his normal (english) voice and then his "american voice" to sort of create two characters.....although a while since I've seen it.

The Goonies was by far the most famous and historical for the XJ.

Some others off the top of my head are:

Tom Hank's XJ in "Cast Away"

XJ wagoneer in "Homeward Bound"
and there was a red one in the TV series "Millenium"

I know there are many many others...

The xj in cast away was cronalogicly(sp?) wrong it was a 97 or newer body style, it showed Tom Hanks in the xj before the crash witch was before 1997

Yes the movie took place in 95.......pre crash, yep!

I wish someone would have a screenshot of the end when he's at the crossroads with the XJ in the background. That would make a good desktop.

Not sure if this has been said or not but in the movie Man On Fire Denzel blows up a XJ.

The movie that Washington was in with Bruce Willis and Annette Benning ahd a XJ in the background when the terrorists bomb went off, the force of the blast was bad enough that it buckled all of the truck's driver's side bodywork that could be seen on camera! Thought I saw a one in the background on "Men in Trees" a couple weeks back too.
