XJ's in the movies?!?!?

Besides the movies the XJ is featured on a wall of the world trade center, solid wall of new york city pics in black and white and one of the big ones shows an empty street, broadway, well, almost empty except for the lone 88XJ parked all by it's lonesome.

Yea, IIRC they killed a pregnant deer with it, but managed to saved the baby in one episode.

I also saw an early 4.0l HO Cherokee Larado (dark green and silver IIRC) driven by one of the main characters when watching Davinci's Inquest once.

there is a commerical for some insurance? company, where a guy trips down a hilly road and as he tumbling, he collects stuff[people, random junk, trees,] that forms a ball, and then near the end he picks up a Cherokee. Kinda hard to explain, but yeah...

Oh yeah, I know what you are talking about at the end of the commerical the ball falls apart and I think he does drives away like nothing happened.

Yea, I think it was a silver Limited, probably with lettering and striping in gold IIRC.

Notice some inaccuracy in the "Goonies" though...

It is a 1985 model XJ, which had the fiberglass tailgate. When Chunk finds the "ORV" in the garage at the old restaurant, he puts his finger in the hole and twists it around.

If it had been a real bullet hole, the fiberglass would have been torn by the inpact, and then he would have gotten fiberglass slivers in his fingers. They must have done some "movie magic" to make those bullet holes.

Ronin, great movie, own it and watched it the other day.
Yes, it is driven by Gregor, who double crossed the team, stole the real case, and gave them a case that had a bomb in it. Its a sick XJ too.

Also, Yes I remember the original XJ's in the movies poste here on . If I remember correctly, it was in the picture section, because the person was asking for pictures of XJs in movies, and that same website or one similar to the one motorcityxj posted.
