Well it really doesnt look like that hard of a task. I went over to thier website and looked up "legal" for a cage. Mainly they just want the basic front adn mid/main hoop, a main hoop diag. and rear kickers and a few interconnecting front to main hoop bars. hell they dont even spec that it ties to unibody frame.

The only real requirements that they state that will need to be followed is that under 3000lbs (dont know what your rig weighs?) 1-1/2 x .120 mild steel and if its over the 3000lbs mark then 1-3/4 x .120 mild OR 1-1/2 x .120 4130 chromo.

Is the jeep drivable currently?

no it is not yet drivable, but we have a large space here to work if someone has a portable welder, tubing bender, and some time. Thanks for your time.
